We constantly strive to provide our patients with the finest dental care available. Or investment in advanced technology means a long-term investment in your future. State-of-the-art technology invites informed decision making and enables patients to make wise choices concerning their oral health. Dr. Bourgeois offers the latest dental technology for your benefit. While we like to have every new gadget that comes along, we use technology only when it’s effectiveness, usefulness and safety have been demonstrated. When new technology increases costs but does not produce a significantly better treatment result, it merely serves to increase your cost.
Early Orthodontic Treatment
The American Association of Orthodontics recommends that children be seen by an orthodontist by the age of seven. The purpose of an early visit is to evaluate whether changes in the child’s skeletal patterns are needed. If changes are needed, plans can be made to begin treatment at the ideal time. There are several advantages to early treatment. If detected early, harmful habits can be corrected to avoid further, more extensive treatment. In addition, early treatment provides a variety of options that adolescent or adult treatment may be unable to offer. Dr. Bourgeois can assess your child’s orthodontic needs and recommend options for treatment.
Comprehensive Orthodontic Treatment to Include Children, Adolescents and Adults
Most people think that orthodontic treatment is just for children. The truth is, people of all ages - including adolescents and adults - receive orthodontic care for healthier teeth and gums, improve chewing from properly aligned teeth, and increase confidence from esthetically pleasing teeth.
Pre-Prosthetic Orthodontic Care
Orthodontic care is often needed before crowns and bridges can be placed. Dr. Bourgeois works with your general dentist to follow a specific treatment plan to stabilize the teeth in the arch and, at the same time reserve a space for the replacement teeth.
Digital Radiography
This form of computerized radiography uses a standard dental x-ray generator as its radiation source. Digital radiography reduces radiation exposure 80-90%.
Intra-Oral Camera
This camera allows us to quickly and easily photograph you in profile and frontal views as well as the inside of your mouth; these images can then be projected onto a color monitor. We use the photographs to check for asymmetries and irregularities that may not be readily visible.

Our computer system is designed to efficiently manage the most complex in the dental industry. Our system handles treatment and payment plans. We make sure our computer system takes care of the technicalities so that you are provided with the most up-to-date information available.
